After the first and second day of my solo Penang adventures, my classmates reached Penang too and I joined them for a Penang Island Tour =D

Admission is RM20 for an adult, but seeing the amazing collection of big and small toys in there makes you a child again deep down inside =)

4. Beach @ Batu Ferringhi

Beautiful scenery at the beach… The beach is clean (unlike PD/Morib) and wind blows in breezes… such a beautiful place!

But of course, the main reason we’re at Penang is to… EAT!!!

Curry Mee [om nom nom No. 12]

Found in a stall near Ariel’s (my classmate) house. The Curry Mee is very thick in its soup and the overall taste is good… but I still prefer the one in New World Park XD

Asam Laksa [om nom nom No. 13]

Also from the stall, the Asam Laksa is lighter in its soup (compared to the one Opposite Penang Chinese Girl School) and the noodle is not as chewy, so i actually enjoy the one opposite the school more… but it’s generous amount of mint leaves sure does not disappoint our taste bud =D

Dim Sum [om nom nom No. 14] @ Zim Sum Restaurant

I must say that (with much disappointment) dim sum is not a penang thing… the dim sum we had either did not shout out, or it just purely sux (such as the much disgusted fish porridge)… a total disappointed for us…

…but Penang has much more to offer!

Homemade Durian Ice Kacang [om nom nom No. 15] @ Kek Seng Coffee Shop

After a long walk under the sun, the ice kacang kicks in just at the right timing and taste! I personally do not eat durian so I can’t really judge on the homemade durian ice cream, but the jagung version I had is not bad actually. Sweet and Chilling… perfect for hot weather!

What do we do after all the nice nice food we ate???

We flushed them all down with a cup of Lame Juice™ @ RM1 per cup ==”
