In case you don’t know, I’m studying in a law degree programme =D
Yes. This kind of situation we need to deal with…
Come to think of it, I had never thought about studying this subject when I was in primary or even secondary… In fact, law is listed as one of the impossible subject that I would study… Reason being I’m bad at history and memorizing facts, and that I had never realized any interest in me for law…
But then again, when I went into my Foundation days, I had the chance to enrol into a minor course of law, which I had instantly fell in love with. I like how the law progress, the logical thinking, the reasoning and such. I realized I did not badly in my minor course (a little more than a credit, ahem) so might as well study it as my degree.
Besides, I look damn nice in my formal attire.
Unfortunately, I had no Form 6 or A-Level as my pre-qualification to enter into a law programme… I’ll have to let go much of the things a normal law transfer degree programme student have. Firstly, I wouldn’t be able to practice in future (as in to become a lawyer) as I don’t have the qualification to even register for the CLP test. The only thing I can do is to enrol to BAR in the UK, which would be a very slim chance of getting accepted. Secondly, I have a limited selection of UK’s University to enter to, provided that my pre-u qualification of “foundation in art” is not recognized by most of the UK’s Universities.
Due to such restrictions, I had always told myself that I’m half-advantaged to start with compared to the others. So I must work really, REALLY hard in order to perform. Not to mention that I am born naturally stupid (My position in class during form six is 32/32, that means i got the last position, thank you very much) so I’d need to study and work like hell in order to be on par with everyone else.
But then again, the ‘bad at history’ bug hits me again. Even though I’ve got no problem understanding the principles of law, cases is a painful experience for me. I had difficulties memorizing cases. =.= Unless I’ve done specifically research on the case, I wouldn’t have know what the hell is the case talking about.
Also, the frequency of assignment is just crazy. 5 assignment to hand in in between the period of 3 months??? Student’s are gonna be dead, so dead for this. Not to mention that I’ve got 2 pending activities to settle outside of my studies… I’ve been left with no time for myself to even sit down and have a decent meal nowadays, set aside having time for movie or outings with friends.
Fast food. That’s what i can only have. I need to be “Fast”
Speaking about friends, although I had made quite a few friends within my classmates, I’ve lost contact with all others friends. Sometimes when my old friends nudge me on MSN and “hey, long time no see, how are you doing?”, I feel like *censored* them. I would just had replied “you had just wasted 2 seconds in my life for asking me how am i doing. go read my blog or facebook status to find out”. But then of course, I didn’t do that. All I did is reply nicely and find a way to end the conversation asap. I feel bad because my friends are being nice and all for caring about me but i wanna *censored* them. What kind of friend is this =.=
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH… I’ve been so stressful nowadays from all the homeworks, pop quiz, tests, assignments (yes, that’s the main pain in the ass) and others, not to mention that my grandsons and granddaughters are graduating soon, and that my sons and daughters are not behaving like how they should have. YES, you will know what I mean when you have got your own kids in the future.
I NEED TO RELEASE ALL MY STRESS AND TENTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s: Curious that I’ve been complaining about my busy-ness and still got time to facebook? Ms. Kat said we need to do something we like in between studies to rest ourselves. So… yeah… it’s justified! =D
