其余空想,不如行动?

焉能行动,唯能空想?
可不可以不要想?
Gahhh!!! Morning class is boring…
so you can’t blame me for ss-ing in class…
Note the nice outfit i wear in class? My classmates are asking me why am i dressed up so nicely that day…
That’s because… I’m going to Tenji!~
Me and my foundation friends had agreed to meet up for lunch that day, and we choose Tenji located at Mount Kiara…
Mount Kiara is such a luxurious place…
Free flow coconut just like the one in Jogoya
to be honest… the food there is of less variety compared to Jogoya… and they both… sux… =x
Can’t really blame the quality, it’s buffet style dinning after all.
They’re having the promotion of RM39.90 per person for lunch time, excluding tax… so we’re quite pleased with what we had for such discounted price.
Besides, the sense of gathering can’t be bought by money!
After the buffet, I’m driving away to fetch my granddaughter! On my way, I’m listening to one of my current addiction…
Such an inspiring song! So touching… Something i need for now to study harder… something i need to sooth the emotion… something…
…that makes me met a car accident
actually very minor accident only… so we exchanged contact and arranged for a day to meet up to fix the conflict. Lol.
See what morning class can do to me and my car? Or should I blame Miley Cryus for that? XD
If you had been visiting my blog last week, you should had saw this:
Yes! It’s the day of the year where children open up their creativity to think of a special way to celebrate their mom’s birthday, while the dad open up his wallet.
It’s a little bit different this year, given that my sister is still studying in UK and it’s just me arranging for the whole thing. So I figured out the basics, flowers and cake!
the rose bouquet for my mom. RM80. Damn nice!
and yes, you guessed it right, it’s the magic relighting candles
and my mom’s going to have a good time trying to blow these out! =D
i also figured that the celebration wouldn’t be complete without THE sister, so she joined us too!
meet my sister =D (no… not the cake! It’s the fat girl in the Skype chat!)
the dad with the failed camwhoring, note the camera is facing the wrong way
the son with his messy hair and his good camwhoring skill
the cake was nice, my sister solo the birthday song and the candle blowing took place for about 27 minutes. We had a great celebration! ^^
and finally, the family reunion photo for 2009! =D
p.s: thanks to the sponsor of the night, the dad who open up his wallet! =D
A true friend never walks away
A true will always stay
A true friend looks out for you
A true friend will guard your secrets
Like a precious gift
A true friend is there for you
To give you a helpful lift
A true friend tries to make you smile
Tries to replace that frown
They may not always succeed
But they rarely let you down
These arms for you are open
This heart for you does care
And when I think you need me
I'll try to always be there
I'll listen to your fears
I promise not to laugh
Comfort your falling tears
I'll make this friendship last
I'll keep you near to my heart
I'll always hold you dear
Even when we're miles apart
Even when you're here
I hope I am to you
Everything you are to me
For the friendship we have
Is a special one indeed

I shall dedicate this poem to Zach =)
After a very expensive lunch and a rather disappointed dinner with his dad, as written in last post, the boy continues on his journey in search of good food! =D
The famous bak kut teh in PJ Old Town is definitely one of the boy’s favourite food since childhood. According to his mom, while she’s in her pregnancy, she eats the bak kut teh here literally EVERYDAY, without fail, unless of course the restaurant closes that day. Even until the day the boy was about to get out from the womb, the mom still went to eat the bak kut teh first before taking cab to the hospital. (serious!)
- Happiness level : 40% -
Another food the boy found is the Hakka Lei Cha restaurant near his home… the rice is mixed with all the vegetables and stuff… served together with the grinded vegetable soup… Not bad =D
- Happiness level : 60% -
The next day, the boy was in for a class debate, a controversial topic and some very arrogant classmates arguing instead of debating… Such de-motivating class had further reminded him of his mission in search of food!
So he went back to his housing area… realizing nothing much interesting to eat… until he wanders back to the shop which he doesn’t enjoy…
The boy decided to give the restaurant another chance… cause everybody deserves a second chance… right? (quoted from Terminator Salvation) XD
The honeydew is actually pretty refreshing! Not too sweet or too bald, just nice! =D
- Happiness level : 70% -
here comes his Grilled Peppered Lamb, RM18
The boy was actually amazed by how different it was from what he tasted last time. The lamb is grilled into a perfect medium, generous serving of mint sauce, the salad is better, and the smash potato is warm and soft. Too bad the keropok thingy is still a gone case.
Nevertheless, a very satisfying main course!
- Happiness level : 95% -
Just when the boy is about to leave the restaurant happily, he changed his mind and ordered dessert! *what? happiness can’t be forced to stop, right?*
He’s glad he stayed back for this, because it is simply amazing! They serve the split in it’s original, traditional way, i.e: 3 flavour of ice cream scope served with cream and fresh banana! They place the ice cream in the correct sequence too! ^^
Simple yet very satisfying! one of the best banana split he had ever tasted!
- Happiness level : 110% -
On his way home, he went to the McD drive-thru near his house too… for this:
Nothing beats McD’s milkshake especially they’re served chilled!
- Happiness level : 140% -
If good food means happiness, the boy is happy to death now! Someone call the ambulance! XD
As you can see from the previous post about the boring college life… It’s only nature for him to feel down and de-motivated…
Hence, he searched high and low… deep into the forest… and through the seven seas… finally, he found the answer to happiness in Goggle:
GOOD FOOD!~
On Monday, he went to the library to check out some textbooks to buy… then he headed to Mid Valley, dragging one of his classmates and a junior of his, for some nice pasta treatment ^^
pasta in Japanese style… interesting…
Alfred’s Chicken Teriyaki to Onsen Tamago, RM19
the boy’s bff’s bbf’s Aburi Salmon no Gomadare Shitate, RM23
and the boy’s Gyu Shabu no Gomadare Shitate, RM26
come together with self grinding black sesame
the boy’s bff’s bbf’s Ice Hazel Chocolate, RM8
and the boy’s Milky Green Tea, RM8 (which is heavenly!!!)
when the bill came… it shows a whooping RM119.60 for 3 person O.O and the boy have to act like he didn’t blink while paying for the bill cause he promised to belanja =.= That added up for his unhappiness…
So he went for his second round of “in search of happiness”
That night, he went with his dad instead, to a restaurant near his house… called Pizza vs. Satay…
As weird as it’s sounds… it is actually quite a reputable restaurant…
i mean… how many restaurant had you seen been covered by all sorts of newspaper… magazines… and even our former prime minister, the pak lah?
the jumbo sized watermelon juice, RM6.90, the kiddie sized carrot juice, RM3.90, and the dad, RM *priceless*
Sirloin Steak Black Pepper, with mint sauce… served together with a smashed potato, salad and a potato bun… RM19
two words to sums it up… it sux
The steak overcooked badly… the smashed potato were bald in taste, the keropok thingy on the smash potato is harder to chew than my grandma’s socks, the salad is eww-ish and the potato bun is ‘oh-i-don’t-know-how-to-describe-it’-ly awful.
the dad’s Italian Fried Rice, served with a fried egg, salad, and vegetable leek soup… RM11
three words to sums it up… it really sux
even my own DIY fried rice would taste better than this one
p.s: In case you don’t get it, it’s not my own DIY fried rice… it’s Pedigree.
p.p.s: This is a lame joke. Please laugh.
Everybody have a dream… a dream that always remained a dream because the society norm force us to drop the dream and adopt the reality…
…but those who make it against all odd, shines.
So, had you realized your dream?
College life is fun, challenging and boring at the same time.
Every morning, I would have to crawl out of my bed 6am sharp (or I’ll be late for class)… provided that I’m living in Shah Alam and my college is at Damansara. Can you imagine? 32km distance between house and college + massive jam during the rush hours + sleepy mood… I know there’s NKVE, but it’s equally jam with federal highway on the morning… so why waste the RM2.40 for the plaza toll?
jamming all the way in Jalan Maarof
8am class could be either fun or demotivating. Sometimes we’ll need to take note in roller coaster speed, sometimes we get to have debating sessions (which could really mess thing up) and sometimes, we get to draw like kindergarden kids ^^
it had been ages since i used magic colour and drawing blocks
and when you think you’re finally awake for class from the sleepy mood, it’s lunch time already.
lunch around college aren’t that great either… it’s either fast food, very bad food or very expensive food =( and it’s a total headache to decide on where to eat… because everytime you ask people where to eat, they’ll be like “whatever”, “dunno” or “you decide”.
all these treatment can really make a boy grumpy…
so he’s in search of good food! =D Food reviews ahead ^^
When people asked me about what course am I taking currently and I told them I’m taking law, there’re generally 3 types of respond I got from them:
(1) HAH! Why?
(2) OMG!
(3) I Can’t Believe It!!??
Great, I’m being discriminated alienated even before i know anything about law. How can i sue them?
Their reasoning being: law is very hard… law is very specific… law is very… very… and keep on asking more why(s)… my answer to them would be because my surname is Low (pronounced as Law). It’s that easy.
But I must admit that they’re right… As you can see, being a law student aren’t easy… It’s pretty stressful if you look at it. I’ve personally seen a law student studying her own notes, textbooks and referencing materials 24/7, before the food arrives in a meal, when sitting on a car ride, during the 5 seconds break between conversations… (ok… the 5 seconds might be extravagating, but it’s around there)… i mean… she’s having her books and notes everywhere! (YES, I’m talking about you, Leen) Well, it’s not a bad thing after all, proven by her 1st class honour… Nevertheless, law student need to bare the stress in a more intense way…
Knowing what’s coming through the next 11 months of my life, it does worries me whether am i able to cope with all these… “Am I able to understand what the lecturer going to say?” “What happened if I don’t understand certain area?” “How am I going to express my answer during exams with a pen instead of a keyboard?”…
But, one thing’s for sure. I’m pretty glad that the batch of my intake are nice batch of people, which are not those who makes little interactions and only know how to study. It’s considered very good to have found ourselves knowing each other already, and even going for class outing on our second week!
picnic lunch at 1 Utama’s Nando’s!~
get to camwhore in the traffic jam too ^^
Having friends besides you during a war is vital factor of winning the war. And we’re going to win the war called final exam together! ^^
Speaking of exam, our course is 80% exam based, meaning that the faith of passing or failing will be dependent on THAT SINGLE paper, unlike what we had in HMC, where marks are accumulated. GOSH! This is one real exam! It’s going to take very high discipline and many hardwork and effort as well to score this.
Back to the classrooms, lecturers are generally pretty cool. Unlike the old style teacher we found in our PMR days, they’re actually very mind triggering, fun to be with, and most important of all, they’re YOUNG! That means no generation gap! =D But this doesn’t means that we’re going to get away with all the sms language or smileys we wrote onto our assignments. They’re pretty strict in terms of punctuality, conduct in class etc. I figured i need to invest onto something that would guarantees me a better law student, or even a better person in the future.
Hence, i dumped RM40 into a very, very valuable investment…
invest in an old style alarm clock is a must for big fan of sleeping =D like me!
