recently… i’ve been a clown…

 
not as a real clown… but as an “entertainer”…

they crack jokes on me… they laugh at me…

i don’t mind… as long as they’re happy… i’m happy…

 

 

but today, they had crossed the line…

how i wish i can cry out loud… but i can’t… i’m suppose to make them happy for another 5 more months…

ok… i will try… to endure just for another 5 month. Have been doing it for the past whole year already anyway… why not?

10 more hours, my son, daughters and grand daughter will be going to compete in the health group dancing competition… and one of my grand daughter asked:

“grandpa, i heard you bake?”

“err…. ya… why?”

“grandpa! can we have brownies before the competition?”

so, for the very last time, I'm baking again =.= for the sake of my grandchild…

…and it’s a failure XD

i call this “moon” cake… well… it do looks like a moon’s surface right? =.=

Look back to the good old days... where the definition of a beautiful woman is reserved for meaty women. Well, is it the karma? Cause now, the skinny girl is the gorgeous looking girl.

Since the Technicolor television was invented, many girls started to be self-consciously watching their body weight. Well, it IS good to maintain good eating habits and stay healthy, but some of them just crossed the line by avoiding food altogether, and eventually developed eating disorders. Well, it's not hard to tell why, as the skinny one were usually the one who's hired to be modelling on the runway, acting in a movie, or serving passengers on an airplane.

Luckily, the concept was dropped in the recent years, proven with the increasing rate of plus size model. Whitney Thompson, who was the first plus size model to win the "America's Next Top Model", is a living example for the girls out there, "don't be afraid to express yourself as who you are".

For me, I salute plus-sized models. Why? Because they need to have more guts to stand out and model themselves compared to those with better metabolism rate. Besides, they are living to prove that big girls aren't any worse than the gorgeous looking girl... instead, they have an "add on" advantage!

And so does Mika sings, "Big girl, you are beautiful"... well... everybody's beautiful when they're not afraid to be themselves!

So I wonder... when will the, urhm... short girl, be able to model themselves?

Meow had recently lost a pet hamster of his, Pafu. R.I.P Pafu…

Seeing this makes me remember the pet hamsters me and my evil sister used to have…

I bought them from a pet stall along the Monorail / LRT intersect… out of a sudden, no preparation at all… so my parents is kinda shock when i went home with a pair of hamster. My sister is overjoyed because she have new toy to torture play with.

The black hamster is mine while the orange is my sister’s.

Why Rita, you ask? Actually my sister ask me to think of a name for her (yes, it’s a her) so i suggested Rita. She thought it would be a good name for her, but what she don’t know is that Rita is actually the name of the witch in Power Ranger.

muahahhaha!

I place them inside my room at first, but they couldn’t stand the room temperature there (my room’s aircond is switched on 24/7) so i moved them to guest room’s bathroom.

everyday, i would go and change the bedding of their and bath them when they started to smell like a dead fish, I’ve even bought shampoo for them so the smell won’t persist. Rita seems to enjoy the shower but Hammy hate it =x

 
no… no… don’t come near me @.@

Unfortunately, one fine day, my mom found that the hamsters are too smelly to stay inside the house, so she bring the cage outside the house (garden area) and leave it there, without locking the cage’s door… at the end of the day, the cage is the only thing that left.

sad case, i know…

now that hammy and Rita is gone, i need a new pet to play with…

And just last week, i adopted a new dog!

Bunnies' Very Useful Scientific Facts! =D

The day before i went to celebrate HS’s 21st birthday, I’ve actually went to a vegetarian restaurant that looks more like a garden…

So, yes… again… yet another food review! XD

i love the cosy environment of the restaurant… it is one of the best vegetarian restaurant I've ever been to… as it doesn’t have that strong religion element that other vegetarian restaurant usually have… this one is more like a cafe =D

and their food variety ranges from Asian noodles and rice, western food and even Italianise food! What’s more, they serves eggless cake and ice cream too ^^ i mean… not many vegetarian restaurant serves cake, right??

Fruit Tea, not bad.

Mushroom soup… taste even better than the real one! =D a must try!

Ala cart of this will cost RM10 per bowl, though… =x

All these are actually in the same western food set, which it all cost RM25 per set… kinda expensive, but it’s considered normal for vegetarian food… though…

Reaching a 21st birthday signifies crossing the threshold to full adult privileges, hence 21st birthday are often associated with a golden key, representing the freedom of a new adult and his/her maturity…

and last Tuesday is my best friend’s 21st birthday!!~

HS has been a friend of mine for 9 years… and i take her as one of my very best friend ^^ so it’s only nature i ponteng meeting to celebrate her big day with her!~

This restaurant is always packed until it closes it’s shop at 1.00am. They started out small from a stall at the road side at Kepong, but they’ve grown to a chain restaurant with many branches. As they’re famous for the mixed ice, we can’t afford to miss it out!

I’ve been a McD person for quite some time… supporting their McValue Lunch for being a daily customer… i mean… who can resist such a tasty treat for just RM5.95??

Unfortunately, i went to an area without McD last Sunday for a meeting…

so… i went to KFC instead XD

but WAIT! Something doesn’t look quite right…

apparently, the KFC i dine in last weekend had changed their hot and spicy chicken into the new flavour…

the brochure sure looks nice… but…

i must say… i didn’t really enjoy the new fiery crunch flavour… it is quite… err… too powdery spicy… i mean… with one crunch you feel the Indian curry powder and stuff… where is the originality of the fried chicken???

Might as well go swallow curry powder, isn’t it easier??

Oh well, guess I'll stick to original recipe next time i ordered KFC =D
