Went to a chinese restaurant yesterday…

 
and as usual… SS first before leaving ^^

my 3rd uncle is leaving for Switzerland tomorrow… so this serves as a farewell dinner for him…

we went to a chinese restaurant named 广西仔 in puchong, near puteri mart

 
nice interior

and the price for the food is quite cheap for KL standard!

braised pork with yam, RM6. Tasted awesome! the braised this perfectly with the taste sinked into the pork and yam, while not losing the original taste of a pork/yam should have. splendid!

 
cool chicken feet skin appetizer, RM12 and the curry potato pork, RM10.

the chicken feet skin is splendid! they handled the onion and the sour sauce just nice! and it’s really COLD when served! Me likey!~

as for the curry potato pork… nah… i’ll pass… edible though

 
bean sprout, RM6, normal only…

 
trotter in vinegar, RM6. my mom can cook better than this… NEXT!

steamed fish in ginger sauces, *market price*, since i hate ginger and fish, i don’t really enjoy this… but it’s nice though…

pepper pork intestine soup, RM20. Not bad. Not the best pepper soup i’ve tasted, though…

and last, but not least… the famous dish of theirs:

Steamed village chicken, RM24

Quite a big portion for RM24… and it’s quite nice! the chicken is smooth and the soy sauces is heavenly made! just salty enough to give the chicken’s freshness a final touch. *applauses*

Despite the not bad food and the low price… we didn’t enjoy this place, though…

…because of the freaking long queue!

It takes us half hour to WAIT for empty seats despite had booked for place beforehand… and after ordered… it take nearly one and a half hour before the first dish was served!

not to say the worker is slow, but there are just too many customers…

people from every table gotta wait for around an hour or more before had their order served. We’re consider lucky enough, given that all dishes we order were still available…

as for the table came after us… it’s a different story… cause most of the dishes they had in their menu were all sold out… (their menu have little choices btw)

all in all, despite having a good time enjoying their food, it’s some place i won’t be visiting anymore…

and for those who would like to give it a try, here’s their name card XD

Where to go for lunch?

Thanks to the advertising below every Window Live Messenger’s Chatbox, we settled with McD for lunch today!~

I’m a BIG FAN of McD!!! I used to have McD for 6 days per week, during the period of my Form 6 life!

Paying just RM5.95 (excluding tax) for a regular set of burger, soft drink and french fries, it’s quite affordable for everyone to have their lunch at McDonald nowadays!

But what’s more, they have added on their promotion!

Just add RM1.20 and you’ll get a large soft drink and a large fries!~

we were more than thrilled to hear that!~

After having my double cheese burger *burp*, i went for the extra shot:

McFlurry Oreo… mini size!

The cup is SO MINI! It’s height is shorter than my palm… say… 7cm?

And they charge me RM3.85 for that.

Well… it might be way not worth the price, so I might as well just concentrate on the size of the cup… so small! so cute!

and did i mention, i was a HUGE fan of McFlurry?

After having our lunch, we chatted and discussed the reason why McD chooses to lower down it’s price. Many says that it’s to maintain business during the economy downturn, while some says it’s to attract more people to fight the dunno-what-Israel-war-boycott thingy.

Whichever’s the truth, we the consumers were the one who benefits from it!~

On the other hand, the innocent businessman / entrepreneurs of McD franchises have got nothing to do with the war, they don’t deserved to be boycott! Boycotting McD and other international company’s product will only make our local businessman suffer!

I mean… even KFC needs to suffer and lower down it’s price

…and they are 5 cent cheaper than McD

However… it makes me wonder why in the world Starbucks was in the boycott list?

Oh no no no no… don’t mess with my favourite McD and Starbucks!!!

WAR! It’s all your fault for the boycott thingy… Хуй войне!!!

it had been a busy week for me...

first up, it's class opening ceremony @ PJS zzysg... so i had been quite busy lately...

luckily, it was a successfull one... except the part where i accidently, drag the table cloth and make all the stuff at table drop, in front of all the VIP and guest...

just like how lizzie drag the entire hall's backdrop down in the lizzie mcguire movie...



also, i left my laptop electricity cable at zzysg... so i'm not able to use my laptop till tuesday >.<

guess i'm too sick to act straight...
