So i went to Jusco Aeon @ Bukit Tinggi with my boss and few friends for a new haircut!

…But before that, lets fill our stomach first!

After a rather full meal, me and my boss went for a hairdo makeover XD (as if)

We went to the saloon in Bukit Tinggi called MONSOON-id. Having a nice experience there when i took my last haircut, I've decided to bring my boss here.

it’s obviously not as nice as the one styled by the hair stylist, but boleh tahan right?

With Air Asia, now everyone can fly to Singapore to have lunch! ^^

Despite hearing so much negative comment about Air Asia, I’m actually quite impressed with the service they provided. I mean, it’s quite ridicules to have us pay for the food and drinks on board, but the service and the smiles of the air attendance is kinda impressive. At least I can feel the passion of the air attendance. Better than the one in MAS.

Besides, the have leather seats now XD

it only takes 50 minutes to reach Singapore, and the ticket would cost like less than RM75 per person? I don’t know… but it’s definitely worth it than to stuck in traffic to have lunch in crowded place!

So, when we reached Singapore, we rent a cab and went to the place we’re having our lunch!

After 25 minutes of journey, we reached Orchid Road’s Takashimaya Shopping Centre.

After lunch, me and my mom went shopping!

Takashimaya have all the branded shop here, and my mom is having the time of her life walking around. We browsed through some shops and walk away empty handed, because everything costs 2.45 times more than Malaysia’s!

Nevertheless, i asked mom to go to Pavilion this coming Saturday morning for buying new cloths for me to the party that night ^^ I’ve spotted a very nice semi formal at Armani Exchange (and the belt too, *cough*), and I’m so gonna force my mom to buy it for me! WUAKAKA.

After all the shopping walking… we went for dessert!

I love the tiramisu. I also loved the vanilla ice cream. But they don’t match together…

The cab we take to go back to the Changi Airport

The taxi driver that looks a bit like Phua Chu Kang, and quite friendly. He only know how to speak in English, so my parents can’t communicate with him and left me to chat with him. He told us that we’ve should have took public cab this morning instead of airport’s limo, because it is way way cheaper. (The limo we took this morning actually cost us $42, or RM108.36) And he also told us how the Singapore ERP system works.

And also, the spot he need to slow down for speed tracking cameras. XD

During the flight back to LCCT, the weather at the airport terminal is actually bad, REALLY bad, our plane have to detour and avoid the storming clouds and have several landing attempts before succeeding.

Luckily, we landed safely. If not, my boss is gonna kill me for not going to work tomorrow!

And I’m pretty sure I’ve landed on Malaysia and not any other country… because we saw this at the airport…

When my parents brought me to visit my ancestor's graveyard today, some funny conversations taken place:

Cookie: Popo, what is inside the box (of joss paper)?

Grandma: It contains $$$, passport, cheque book etc etc...

Cookie: Ohh... got handphone one ah?

Grandma: nope, your grandpa wouldn't know how to use handphone

Cookie: oh, i thought i can sms him when i was bored...

Mom: Grandma and grandpa doesn't belong to the technology era... so they can live without handphone...

Cookie: oh i see... then u need onot?

Mom: Yes. Pls burn me handphone and Astro. And also tons of handbags. Different brands and design please.

Cookie: O.O oh... okok...

Mom: I also want a bunglo, 2 maid and a porche. Can I?

Dad: Alamak. I always thought when you're dead, I will be able to save money...

Mom: Don't worry. You'll be using the same bungalow and car when it's your turn to use them...

After some time I didn’t get to see my parents, my mom finally have a chance to had a long chat with me. (5 minutes is considered long, isn’t it?)

M: How is work today?

C: Good. I go work and came home alive.

M: Later 10 o’clock I’ll call you to come downstairs to have abalone soup, ok?

C: Ok.

M: Will you come back for dinner tomorrow?

C: Hmm… No wor… i got meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday. Friday i got class and Saturday i gotta go watch Wilayah performance.

M: How about Sunday?

C: Hmm, ok lo. Book with you first. (Takes out phone to record appointment) Maybe moving away and banana will come over.

M: Great! How are they doing?

C: They are still alive.

M: How is moving away? Got boyfriend already?

C: Dunno o… But she ask me to bring her to saloon, perhaps…

M: How about banana? Got girlfriend already?

(OK, it’s pretty obvious that my mom’s trying to find topic to make the conversation longer)

C: Err, no gua.

M: Don’t have girl chase her meh?

C: No wor.

M: How about you?

C: har?

M: Do you have a girlfriend?

M: Have you started to plan for your future? At what age you want to get a girlfriend and get marry?

C: Why?

M: Because you’re going to get marry someday. Faster get a girlfriend and get marry so that I’ll get a grandson to play with.

C: Oh, ok.

M: When? When will you go get a girlfriend?

C: At the age of 70.

I mean, come on. I’m not even 21 yet and my mom is urging me to get marry already!

Yesterday, my boss decided to bring all of us to Jogoya for company dinner… although i’m just a part-timer, i’m invited as well!~

we reached by 7.15pm or around there, and headed straight to jogoya, as we were already late for our 7pm reservation.

it was my first time there… and i’ve heard a lot of “how expensive and delicious the food there is”… so i had quite a high expectation on the dinner…

well, to be honest, it kinda disappointed me…

the sashimi is not that fresh (it’s fresh, but it’s not freshly fresh!!), the sushi’s rice is a bit too hard… the unagi fails to bring out the taste of sweetness and cheekiness that it usually brings to me.

and from Zach, i know that they have this free flow of red wine as well. when i go get some for my own, they served me the red wine in ice cream cup!

when i walked around the restaurant, i saw the department where they keep the fish before they were killed (the aquarium). I saw 2 fish inside.

they aren’t swimming. they aren’t moving around much… it seems like they had already knew that they’re about to become sushi and they’re not gonna be there for long.

for once, i felt guilty for eating all the sushi…

oh by the way, their sushi is nothing compared to the one in Kansai.

still, i felt guilty.
