Yes. Let me make it official. I KNOW how to make sushi!!~

Though, I only know how to make the most basic type of maki sushi XD

And here’s a tutorial on how to make maki sushi! It’s really simple! =D

Step 1: Prepare all your ingredients

Here’s the basics: Nori (Seaweed), Rice, Vinegar, Mayonnaise and Soy sauce.

Step 2: Cook the rice

The Japanese rice (not the normal “beras cap rambutan” from grocery shop) must be washed several time in order to get rid of the smell of rice. Wash around 10 times should be sufficient.

Step 3: Prepare the inner fillings

I am suppose to use bigger prawn, but heck, it’s for my own consuming and it’s just some random lunch. So the normal small prawn will do for me.

So here I’ve made some raw cucumber, fried egg and deep fried prawn. Yummy~

Step 4: Accidently drop all the fillings on the floor

This step is optional. But it was suppose to create excuses for me to skip Contract class the next day.

Step 5: Mix the rice with vinegar while hot, let cool

This step is to give the rice that sourly flavour, as well as letting it cold down before rolling. Rice could only be rolled when cold.

Step 6: Spread the rice evenly on the Nori

Step 7: Put all your ingredient onto the rice horizontally

Step 8: Roll it and cut it!
